Pole Instructor - Part Time

Looking for...

  • Experienced Instructors who are passionate about teaching

  • Friendly and welcoming personality, understanding we are a trauma informed studio 

  • Nationally Accredited Certified Instructor (elevated or xpert) 

  • Passionate about helping others

  • Ability to execute and explain all moves and tricks you will be teaching

  • Must have your own insurance for teaching

  • Must carry CPR/AED Certifications

Upon hire, you will work for a two weeks along side owner Emily to get acclimated to our studio, schedule, instructors and members. We will work through our instructor handbook and go over all procedures and policies, and get you set up in our system. We have competitave wages and continuing education incentives included in our hiring package.

You will be hired as a 1099 contractor for the first three months of employment. After three months if we feel it is a mutually beneficial fit you will be brought on as a part-time employee.

Pole Apprenticeship

If you are considering teaching pole but aren't quite sure if you are ready, or if you are looking to one day teach down the road we are opening up a position to work under Owner Emily as a Pole Apprentice Teacher. If you are newly certified and have no teaching experience you must go through this process with us before becoming hired. 

Under Emily's guidance you will:

  • Spend 1-2 hours per week meeting with Emily working one-on-one with her to learn techniques, terminology, spotting, class structures, and more.

  • Shadow along side Emily in her classes learning how to teach a class

  • Create programs and classes to be reviewed 

  • Potentially be hired as a instructor or substitute instructor for Altius if it fits for both parties

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Must be entered in a Pole Cert Program or Already have obtained Certification

  • Must have CPR/AED

  • Must be committed to a 12 week program

  • If hired, must be willing to obtain teachers training insurance

Pole Substitute Instructor

We are currently looking to fill a few positions as a Pole Substitution Instructor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 Months Pole Training Experience

  • Nationally Accredited Pole Certification

  • Pole Teaching Insurance 

  • CPR/AED Current Certificate

We are looking to hire a few positions as Pole Substitute Instructors. You would not have a regular week to week schedule but would be available to teach a class in the event we would need a substitute instructor. Must feel comfortable teaching most formats of our classes.
